Who are these people with so much free time?? And why aren't they giving it to me????

it's just like the 60's, girl, if you want your life to be so fantastic all you have to do is tune in, turn on and drop out. Wait that might be for acid. I remember some movie quote along the lines of "Why do I do so many drugs? Well, I used to have all these problems - my job, my girlfriend, my family, money. Then I started doing drugs, and now I only have one problem!" I'm trying to figure out where I'm going with this.

Ok, how about this - when I was there, everyone pretty much acknowledged that the toll the theater gods exacted for our constant treading upon their domain was between one and one half of a letter grade in at least 2 classes. I remember that learning that made my apparent mediocrity re: grades feel much less painful and also gives a real concrete value to the work we did there, even if it was not always successful. I would say I learned far more than 3 letter grades of stuff from working in the theater.

So its worth it to not have any free time, as long as you're doing something with it. Yeah. That's what I'm trying to say.

I realize what I'm doing is worth the loss of free time, but sometimes it would be nice to decompress a little. Based on the timing of your last couple of entries, it seems like you are one of these "free time" people. Either that or you're an insomniac. EDIT: I take that back, didn't notice your page wasn't on 24-hr time. But you still have more time that I do ;P

I am an insomniac. It's really annoying and I've become substantially more irritable because of it, but yeah, I do have more time to do... you know... stuff.
